As a junior on the basketball team, Andrew Baxter knew he was not going to play much at all so he resolved that he wished to be the best possible teammate on the bench. He did this by encouraging the entire bench to overwhelmingly support the players and be cheerleaders on their behalf. He encouraged all the bench to "go crazy" for the guys playing. It made a big change in the team and most likely contributed to the fact that the basketball team made it to the playoffs for the first time in many years.

Andrew Baxter enjoys the new challenges of college courses. He enjoys meeting class mates from all over Texas and other states. But primarily he loves the fulfilling Christian fellowship of being part of “BUCS” – Brothers Under Christ - a unique organization of Christians at Texas Tech who want to expand their faith as they progress through college.
